Frequently Asked Questions

What file formats does Contract Analyzer support?

Contract Analyzer supports PDF and DOCX (Microsoft Word) file formats for contract analysis. Simply upload your document and our AI will extract and analyze the text automatically.

How accurate is the AI contract analysis?

Contract Analyzer does not publish a validated accuracy rate. AI output can miss, misinterpret, or invent details, so treat risk scores, clause findings, and recommendations as a review aid rather than a final legal conclusion. Check important findings against the original contract and consult a qualified attorney for decisions with legal or financial consequences.

Is my contract data secure?

With the current local storage implementation, uploaded file bytes are not written to permanent storage. Up to 12,000 characters of extracted text and the resulting analysis are stored in your account until you delete the contract from My Contracts. The extracted text is also sent to the configured external AI provider to generate the analysis.

How long does contract analysis take?

Contract Analyzer does not publish a guaranteed completion time. Duration depends on document extraction, file length, the configured AI provider, and current service load. Keep the upload page open while the progress indicator is active and retry later if the request fails.

What types of contracts can I analyze?

You can submit legal documents such as service agreements, employment contracts, NDAs, leases, sales contracts, and partnership agreements when they are supplied as a supported PDF or DOCX. Output quality varies by document, formatting, context, and jurisdiction, so verify important findings against the source and applicable law.

Does Contract Analyzer provide legal advice?

No, Contract Analyzer is an AI-powered analysis tool and does not provide legal advice. The analysis and recommendations provided should not be considered a substitute for professional legal counsel. We recommend consulting with a qualified attorney for legal matters.

How do credits work?

Each contract analysis consumes 1 credit. Purchased credits never expire and remain in your account until used. You can purchase additional credits at any time from your account page.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Contract Analyzer operates on a credit-based system, not a subscription. You purchase credits as needed without any recurring commitment. Unused credits remain available until you choose to use them.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and debit cards through our payment processor Paddle. Paddle supports Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and many other payment methods worldwide.

How do I request a refund?

You can request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting our support team or using the 'Request a refund' link in your Paddle receipt email. Refunds are processed back to your original payment method.
